Responsibilities

Medication review and verification of chemotherapy regimens.

Oversee preparation and dispensing of chemotherapy medications, ensuring safety protocols.

Provide patient counseling on medications.

Precept pharmacy residents and students.

Participate as Disease Team lead pharmacist and in Cancer Center / Department of Pharmacy committees.

Develop institution‑wide oncology medication use policies.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate of Pharmacy degree.

Registered Pharmacist issued by the state of California (RPH).

Experience: PGY‑2 or PGY‑1 plus one year of experience, or four years pharmacist experience.

Preferred Qualifications

PGY2 Oncology residency.

Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP).

Experience in hematology/oncology.

Prior inpatient or ambulatory infusion center experience.

Prior oncology pharmacy experience.

Special Conditions

Variable hours (8‑10 hour shifts), weekends and rotating holidays up to every other.

Coverage for sick calls and vacation.

Willing to rotate to all pharmacy areas/sites.

Employment subject to criminal background check and pre‑employment physical.

Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $188,609 – $212,350 (prorated if appointment less than 100%). Hourly Equivalent: $90.33 – $101.70.
