We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and patient-focused Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our pediatric team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment. Pediatric experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate.

Schedule

This is a full-time position

Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Assist dentists during pediatric examinations and dental procedures, ensuring all required instruments and materials are readily available.

Perform coronal polishing on pediatric patients in accordance with dental protocols and regulations.

Prepare treatment rooms for patient appointments by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked.

Educate children and their parents about proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.

Record patient medical and dental histories accurately, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Help manage patient flow and contribute to a positive, friendly atmosphere within the dental practice.

Schedule appointments and follow up with patients or parents regarding treatment plans or upcoming visits.

Assist in the management of dental records and other administrative tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

Active California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license

Coronal polishing certification

Radiology (X-ray) license

Sealant certification

Current CPR/BLS certification

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Friendly, patient-focused attitude with a team-oriented mindset
