Locum Physician - Gastroenterology Opportunity in Midlothian, VA

Job Responsibilities:- Provide locum coverage due to a lack of current coverage.
- Handle hospital call on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Manage adult patients in both hospital and outpatient settings.
- Utilize onsite laboratory and X-ray facilities.
- Perform various gastroenterology procedures, including but not limited to:
- Esophageal Dilatation and Manometry
- Colonoscopy and Sigmoidoscopy
- Liver Biopsy and Small Bowel Biopsy
- Endoscopic procedures, including EUS and ERCP
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Epic EMR system.
- Provide care and management for gastrointestinal disorders.
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology - Required
- Valid Virginia medical license - Required
- Must have clean malpractice history for temporary privileges - Required
- Experience with ERCP - Required
- EUS experience is Preferred
- Flu shot and COVID vaccination are Required and Highly Preferred respectively.
- Must be available to cover open shifts - Required
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology
- Virginia medical license
- Flu shot and COVID vaccine documentation
