Associate Manager Contract Specialist – Global Privacy & Technology
As an Associate Manager Contract Specialist within the Global Privacy & Technology team, you will support the technology contracting process for Stryker businesses. Your role includes drafting, redlining, reviewing, negotiating, issue spotting, resolution, and ensuring contract execution and retention.
You will partner closely with team leadership and legal counsel, working under the supervision of the Senior Technology Counsel and collaborating with Privacy Counsel, Commercial/Division Counsel, and various business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, edit, review, and negotiate complex technology agreements (information security, software, vendor contracts) with minimal supervision.
Provide time‑sensitive, strategic contracting support to internal and external stakeholders.
Exhibit solid negotiation skills and comfort in negotiating contract terms with customers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with sales, finance, operations, and attorney stakeholders across the organization.
Serve as a contracting and negotiating expert for other areas within the organization.
Exercise sound judgment in identifying and escalating issues to management or for legal review.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Stryker’s product lines, competitive environment, and customers to support initiatives.
Monitor and track contract‑related matters, proactively providing updates as requested.
Identify system or process improvements that increase efficiency, compliance, or reduce cost.
Act as a liaison between Stryker business units and Legal, fostering two‑way communication of evolving business needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; alternatively, 6 additional years of work experience will be considered.
6+ years of professional work experience.
3+ years of experience working with Digital Solutions, AI and/or cybersecurity.
Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $100,500 – $215,300, plus bonus eligibility and benefits. Pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
