With offices in St. Petersburg, Tampa, and Lakewood Ranch, COSSA is the exclusive pediatric orthopaedic partner of Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, a nationally ranked children’s hospital and a regional referral center for complex pediatric spine care.

We are recruiting a fellowship‑trained Pediatric Spine Surgeon to join our team and assume a high‑volume scoliosis and spinal deformity practice, replacing a respected senior partner who is retiring in the coming months. This is an exceptional opportunity to step into an established spine referral base with robust clinical support and leadership potential.

Position Highlights

Immediate opening to continue a mature pediatric spine practice

Broad spectrum of spine pathology including scoliosis, kyphosis, spondylolisthesis, and other spinal deformities

Dedicated spine clinic days and protected OR time

Full support of a multidisciplinary care team including advanced practice providers, surgical schedulers, and pediatric anesthesiologists

Access to state‑of‑the‑art OR technology and intraoperative neuromonitoring

Collaborative environment with experienced non‑spine pediatric orthopaedic partners

2‑year partnership track with competitive compensation and productivity incentives

Ideal Candidate

Fellowship‑trained in Pediatric Orthopaedic Spine Surgery (or equivalent training)

Enthusiastic about joining a collegial team and contributing to ongoing growth and innovation

Comfortable mentoring residents and participating in education and research if desired
