Your role We are seeking a highly motivated analyst to join our San Francisco-based Transactions team. This individual will play a key support role in evaluating real estate investment opportunities and executing dispositions across the firm’s diverse portfolio.

Do you have a strong investment focus? Are you a detail-oriented multitasker? We’re looking for someone like that to:

provide detailed underwriting of potential real estate investment opportunities across various property types (multifamily, retail, industrial, etc.);

build and maintain financial models and sensitivity analyses;

conduct market research and gather competitive intelligence to support underwriting assumptions;

analyze asset-level operating statements, budgets and forecasts;

support due diligence efforts, including cataloging of all materials, review of leases, legal, financial and other operational documents;

prepare investment memos, presentations and materials for investment committee review;

support asset dispositions including preparation of marketing materials, hold/sell analyses, coordination of due diligence materials, communicating with external stakeholders and closing;

limited travel to conduct market research and evaluate investment opportunities;

assist with special assignments as needed to support the Transactions team.

Your expertise

Ideally 1-3 years of work experience in real estate asset management, acquisitions, development or capital markets;

experience with real estate financial models, discounted cash flow analysis or other investment analysis;

experience with market analysis, appraisal review, reviewing research reports, reviewing property operating statements and gathering information to support underwriting assumptions;

knowledge of real estate investment concepts and terminology;

advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Argus;

effective communication and writing skills for internal and external communication and presentations;

strong analytical and problem‑solving skills and excellent attention to detail;

effective prioritization and time management skills to meet deadlines and provide accurate analysis; and

a self‑starter who can work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast‑paced team environment.

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or real estate desired. Additional related experience would be considered in lieu of a completed degree program.

Salary information US Only: The expected salary range for this role is $80,000 to $110,000 based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Please see the “Your role” section for detailed salary information.
