Neuro-Ophthalmology – Clinical Faculty

Duties • Clinical practice in neuro‑ophthalmology with a focus on outpatient care and shared inpatient neuro‑ophthalmology consultation. • Education of residents and medical students. • Collaboration with the Department of Ophthalmology, Rush Eye Center, and other subspecialty colleagues (Headache, Neuroimmunology, Stroke). • Participation in clinical, basic science, and community‑based research. • Opportunity to develop a clinician‑educator career and/or pursue research interests.
Qualifications
Board‑certified neurologist, fellowship‑trained in neuro‑ophthalmology.
Eligibility for Illinois licensure.
Strong interest and prior commitment to clinical and/or basic science research.
Experience in outpatient neuro‑ophthalmology and inpatient consultation preferred.
Compensation Pay Range: $250,000 – $360,000 (full time, 1.0 FTE). Includes base pay, benefits, incentive programs, sign‑on and retention bonuses, relocation allowance.
