Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist (Perinatologist)
Physician Affiliate Group of New York, P.C. (PAGNY) and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology invite applications for a Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Specialist at
NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln . This position is part of the NYC Health + Hospitals Shared Service Line Model. Core Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive consultations for high‑risk pregnancies, including maternal and fetal complications. Perform and interpret advanced obstetric ultrasounds, fetal echocardiography (if applicable), Doppler studies, and prenatal diagnostic procedures. Co‑manage patients with obstetricians, midwives, and other specialists to optimize maternal and fetal outcomes. Participate in labor and delivery coverage for complex cases, as needed. Diagnostic and Procedural Duties
Conduct first‑, second‑, and third‑trimester ultrasounds. Perform amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (if applicable). Manage fetal assessment, non‑stress tests, and biophysical profiles. Manage hypertensive disorders, diabetes, multiple gestation, placenta accreta spectrum, preterm birth prevention, and other high‑risk conditions. Teaching and Education
Supervise and teach residents, fellows (if applicable), medical students, and sonographers. Contribute to curriculum development, simulation training, and quality improvement initiatives. Shared Service Expectations
Your primary work site is at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. Clinical coverage as needed, remote and in‑person, for other hospitals in the region. Emergency coverage for other NYC Health + Hospitals facilities, as needed. Home on‑call duties for MFM consults on nights/weekends for shared service facilities. Schedules will be set by the Shared Services Team and hospital OB/GYN leadership. Compensation
Base pay range: $485,400.00/yr – $495,400.00/yr. Eligibility
This is a full‑time, mid‑senior level position for qualified MFM specialists. Referrals increase your chances of interviewing.
