Are you ready to make an impact? West Monroe is currently seeking an Experienced Consultant to join our Operations Excellence practice within our Enterprise Strategy & Execution (ES&E) discipline.
ES&E consultants help clients think strategically about talent and service delivery, transforming operations through effective transformation management, strategic sourcing and optimizing people, process, and technology.
What you’ll do
Serve on client delivery teams, with increasing consultant responsibility and independent work ownership; drive deliverable development and support key activities throughout a project (e.g., requirements gathering workshops, contract negotiations, etc.).
Support functional workstream planning and execution by collaborating with team members and learning clients’ business functions.
Assist Project Managers with updating project plans and status reports, as well as keeping track of the project financials.
Independently perform data gathering and analysis; synthesize findings into actionable insights that inform client strategies and drive decision‑making.
Develop client‑ready deck storylines and key message/findings, work closely with team members to refine the story and deliverable, and effectively present findings and insights to client stakeholders.
Participate in and support the practice in development and enhancements to ES&E methodologies, tools, and other collateral.
Identify and raise potential farming opportunities to project managers and practice leadership and monitor opportunity status to establish appropriate follow‑up timing.
Assist with proposal development/BD efforts, developing proposals and statements of work with senior leaders.
What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (e.g., Finance/Accounting, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering, Management/Business, Information Technology, etc.) or equivalent experience required.
1–3 years of experience in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment (e.g., consulting, investment banking, startup, or similar).
Experience in IT strategy, systems integration, procurement/sourcing, vendor/contract management, or related areas strongly preferred.
Strong data visualization and analysis skills; proficient in Excel for advanced financial modeling, staffing model analysis, and synthesizing complex datasets. Able to analyze data, identify key insights, and present findings in a clear and compelling manner.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including the ability to create impactful and concise executive stakeholder‑ready deliverables, and polished client‑facing oral communication skills.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Demonstrated success within one or more of West Monroe’s core industries including Consumer & Industrial Products, Healthcare (payer/provider), Life Sciences, High Tech & Software, Utilities, Insurance, Banking, and/or Private Equity.
Ability to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.

Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role can vary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices (see below). Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
Seattle or Washington, D.C.: $89,300—$105,000 USD
Los Angeles: $93,500—$110,000 USD
New York City or San Francisco: $97,800—$115,000 USD
A location not listed above: $85,000—$100,000 USD

Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, purchase shares from our employee stock ownership program and be eligible to receive annual bonuses. Employees will also receive unlimited flexible time off and ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Eligibility for ten weeks of paid parental leave will also be available upon hire date.
