Job Description Job Description Lead HVAC/Refrigeration Technician Are you looking for year round full time work? Tri-State Mechanical Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Lead HVAC/Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the service of new units, existing equipment including preventative maintenance meticulously following company specifications and adhering to established safety guidelines. Your role will involve ensuring that each diagnosis and troubleshooting with repairs is conducted with precision and care, guaranteeing that all work meets the highest quality and safety standards. This will require attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team. What We Offer: · Competitive salary based on experience · Year-round work · Full benefits package including health, vision, dental · 401 (K) matching · Paid time off and holidays · Tool allowance · Company van, equipment, phone and IPad · Company paid training · Commission and bonuses Duties and responsibilities: · Completes all paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough, and timely manner · Designs, fabricates, and installs various ducts and duct fittings as required · Provides guidance and knowledge to HVAC Installer Helpers on proper skills and training for HVAC/Refrigeration jobs · Works under minimum supervision to service HVAC equipment in customer’s location · While completing repairs, also making valuable recommendations to customers in their best interest · Properly complete paperwork · Participate in training allowing you to grow and develop as a professional · Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts and installation teams · Have the proper certifications: EPA, OSHA and/or Journeyman License · Keep your company truck clean, inside and outside · Keep your truck inventory up to date · Maintain a clean and professional appearance, uniform shirts are provided Desired Skills, Certifications, and Education: · Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HVAC/Refrigeration Installation and Mechanical work · EPA Universal Certification · Proficient in split systems, package units, and heat pumps · Capable of working independently and efficiently · Self-motivated team player with an emphasis on quality workmanship · Must maintain valid state driver's license · Must possess knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Codes · Neat and professional appearance Working with Tri-State Mechanical Services, Inc.: Since its establishment in 1989, Tri-State Mechanical Services, Inc. has maintained a consistent objective; to deliver exceptional service to our customers while fostering enduring relationships grounded in customer satisfaction, trust and value.
