Job Responsibilities - Inspect and diagnose HVAC systems to identify necessary repairs or maintenance. - Perform routine maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. - Repair or replace defective or worn components in HVAC systems. - Install new HVAC systems and ensure they meet all specifications and safety standards. - Test electrical circuits and components for continuity, using electrical test equipment. - Ensure compliance with all applicable standards, codes, and regulations for HVAC systems. - Provide customers with cost estimates for repair or replacement services. - Maintain accurate records of all service and repair activities. - Educate customers on energy efficiency practices and system maintenance. - Respond promptly to emergency service calls and troubleshoot issues. - Use specialized tools and equipment with precision and safety. - Keep up-to-date with the latest HVAC technology and industry developments. - Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure optimal service delivery. - Adhere to all company and industry safety policies and procedures. Job Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited HVAC training program - Valid HVAC technician certification (e.g., EPA 608) - Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC service and repair - Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning - Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals - Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues accurately - Skilled in using HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment - Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills - Excellent customer service and communication abilities - Valid driver's license and clean driving record - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively - Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends - Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces - Compliance with safety standards and regulations6b250ea6-cee3-481d-915c-f7283f1b2f1b
