Description We are seeking an enthusiastic Accounting Clerk to join our team in White Plains, NY on a part-time basis starting in January (approximately 20 hours per week). In this role, you will support our Accounts Payable functions and conduct regular bank reconciliations. Responsibilities:
- Process and verify invoices to ensure accuracy and timely payments.
- Manage accounts payable operations, including handling high-volume tasks and resolving discrepancies.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Ensure all financial transactions are properly documented and organized.
- Utilize FundEZ and Excel to perform accounting functions and generate reports.
- Maintain ledger accounts and perform monthly reconciliations.
- Collaborate with team members to improve workflow and efficiency.
- Assist with data entry and ensure records are updated accurately.
- At least 1 year of accounting experience, particularly in accounts payable and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in FundEZ software and Microsoft Excel, including formulas.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data processing.
- Ability to handle high-volume tasks and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with bank reconciliations.
- Excellent organizational skills for maintaining financial records.
- Problem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies effectively.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and address inquiries.
