- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the development of manufacturing processes for composite hardware.
- Lead and provide technical direction to projects with critical business impact.
- Design and develop mold tooling.
- Provide technical guidance, direction, and mentorship to new engineers in function.
- Drive rigor for documentation of projects and lessons learned.
- Make recommendations after analysis of the data using quality tools.
- Protect the Intellectual Property rights of the Company.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years (mechanical, aerospace, industrial, and engineering) experience + minimum of 5 years ((mechanical, aerospace, industrial, and engineering) experience
- Previous experience in composites manufacturing (i.e.: Braiding & Weaving technology, Ply shape development, Prepreg hand layup, Resin Injection Molding, Autoclave and/or press curing).
- Experience operating within Quality Systems (Ex: AS9100, NADCAP).
- Skilled in the use of CAD modeling software (Unigraphics preferred).
