Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled HVAC Service Technician to perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work on a variety of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires excellent technical knowledge, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities Diagnostics Troubleshooting: Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions in residential and/or light commercial HVAC systems (including split systems, mini-splits, furnaces, and heat pumps). Repair Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and component replacements (e.g., compressors, motors, circuit boards, coils, etc.). System Testing: Test and balance systems, check refrigerant levels, and ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently. Customer Interaction: Clearly explain service issues and repair options to customers, provide accurate cost estimates, and collect payment when necessary. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, company procedures, and local/federal codes, especially concerning safe refrigerant handling. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory of tools, equipment, and parts in the service vehicle. Documentation: Complete service reports, invoicing, time entries, and warranty documentation neatly in a timely manner. On-Call Duty: Participate in the rotating on-call schedule for emergency after- hours service calls. Required Qualifications Experience: 3 years of verifiable field experience as an HVAC Service Technician. Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of HVAC theory, electrical and refrigeration principles, and troubleshooting techniques. Certifications: Current EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling Certification. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members. Tools: ALL tools are provided by the company Driving: Valid state drivers license and a clean driving record.
