Job Summary Our client is seeking a Senior Analyst to support daily activities within the Capital Planning function. This role plays a critical part in delivering advanced analysis related to capital and risk-weighted asset (RWA) planning, forecasting, and reporting. The individual will work closely with finance partners and senior leadership to support capital strategy and long-term planning.

Key Responsibilities Support ongoing capital planning and management processes, including forecasting and monitoring of capital and RWA under both U.S. GAAP and IFRS frameworks. Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts shared with executive leadership, including the CFO and CEO. Partner with business finance teams to support multi-year capital planning and budgeting initiatives. Analyze movements in capital and RWA, researching key drivers using large datasets and database query tools. Perform variance analysis, reconciliations, and forward-looking financial analysis on critical metrics and ratios. Validate the accuracy and integrity of internal financial and operational reporting. Execute accounting entries and prepare related management and regulatory reports as required. Support a strong control environment by performing and documenting SOX-related controls. Ensure compliance with treasury policies, risk limits, and internal standards. Communicate insights, findings, and issues clearly to internal stakeholders and business partners.

Qualifications Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (required). Three or more years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or a similar analytical role. Prior exposure to capital management, capital planning, or treasury functions (preferred). Strong analytical mindset with the ability to investigate trends and drivers within complex financial data sets. Advanced proficiency in Excel and solid experience using SQL for data analysis; Power BI experience is a plus. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage internal stakeholders. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and demonstrated project management capability. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and data visualization platforms.
