Position Summary The Enterprise Architect is a strategic, non-managerial role focused exclusively on infrastructure within a healthcare technology environment. This position does not involve application development or direct application support. Instead, it integrates proposals from independent solution architects into cohesive, enterprise-wide infrastructure strategies.

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain an enterprise-wide IT strategy. Integrate and unify solutions from individual solution architects. Design end-to-end infrastructure architecture. Coordinate technology implementation across domains. Establish comprehensive technology frameworks. Translate technical solutions across the organization. Collaborate with various IT stakeholders and business owners. Familiarize with diverse application sets (infrastructure, clinical, business applications).

Technical Expertise Requirements Deep cross-platform technical knowledge. Experience with: Data centers Virtualization Storage Servers Networking Compute Application delivery Active Directory Infrastructure technologies Understanding of security and cloud technologies. Ability to bridge on-premise and cloud environments. Capable of creating elastic infrastructure solutions. Expertise in infrastructure stack integration.

Ideal Candidate Profile Subject matter expert across multiple technology platforms. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to synthesize solutions from different specialist architects. Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF). Not focused on hands-on implementation or troubleshooting. Demonstrates strategic thinking and comprehensive infrastructure understanding.
