Job Description Job Description HVAC Service & Refrigeration Technician Location: Charleston, SC Pay Range: $28.00–$36.00 per hour (Based on Experience) Full-Time | Commercial HVAC Systems | Service & Maintenance About the Role We’re looking for a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our commercial service team in the Charleston, SC area. This role involves performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of commercial and light industrial HVAC systems. What You’ll Do Service and maintain commercial HVAC systems including: DX equipment (up to 100 tons) Packaged and water-cooled AC units (up to 150 tons) Water source heat pumps and associated equipment Computer room units with humidifiers and controls Gas-fired and electric heating systems (up to 150 tons) Pneumatic, electronic, and DDC control systems Air handling units, including VAV systems Diagnose and repair malfunctioning equipment, replace defective parts, and perform system start-ups. Maintain and troubleshoot commercial refrigeration systems (walk-ins, ice machines, display cases, etc.). Perform preventive maintenance including coil cleaning, belt replacement, and electrical connections. Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards . Communicate effectively with customers and dispatch regarding job status and site updates. Work independently and manage daily workload efficiently. What You’ll Bring High School or Trade School diploma (or GED equivalent) Universal EPA Certification (Type I or Universal) 4 years of commercial HVAC service experience Knowledge of refrigeration systems, control systems, and electrical fundamentals Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and flexible scheduling Professional appearance and commitment to safety Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay: $28.00–$36.00 per hour (based on experience) Comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, dental, and disability insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off and holidays Ongoing training and career development opportunities Why Join Us?
