Base pay range $147,250.00/yr - $245,000.00/yr

Job Description If you are customer-focused, enjoy building relationships, and collaborating with partners to provide strategic financial advice, this role is for you. As a Commercial Banker in Mid-Corporate Banking, your primary responsibility will be new client acquisition and maintaining a portfolio of relationships, focusing on companies with annual revenues from $100 million to $2 billion.

Job Responsibilities

Act as a primary interface with the Mid-Cap Investment Banking Team

Acquire new clients and deepen relationships within the portfolio

Act as the interface between the financial sponsors team and portfolio companies

Grow and retain profitable relationships in the Mid-Corporate Banking target market

Champion a culture of innovation and a customer‑centric mindset

Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation or strategic partnerships

Find ways to increase efficiency with existing technical infrastructure through automation while embracing new technologies

Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

Five+ years of lending or credit support experience with a focus on business relationships

Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services

Methodical approach to market activities and prospecting, with proven client relationship skills, able to engage CEOs and CFOs

Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources

Demonstrated experience meeting or exceeding sales goals

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage priorities under pressure to meet deadlines

Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with credibility and partnership with senior business and control partners

Deep local connections and market knowledge

Corporate finance expertise and strong transaction execution skills

FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses required or must be obtained within 180 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training

Sales management, business development skills, proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships

Experience with Financial Sponsors, Direct Lending and Capital Markets Solutions

Strong creative solution, problem‑solving abilities, flexible to changing business priorities, and ability to multitask

Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, self‑directed, proactive and creative
