Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM. We are looking for an accomplished and strategic product management leader to join the Marketing Data Science team within the Chief Data Office. This role leads a portfolio of data and AI/ML algorithm products that support the Salesforce Marketing organization, drives the vision of AI‑powered marketing, and enables data‑driven decisions at scale. The role directly influences marketing strategy, operations, and investment allocation.

Key Responsibilities

Recruit, lead, mentor, and grow a team of product managers, fostering a culture of data‑driven decision making, innovation, and accountability.

Own the end‑to‑end product lifecycle for foundational data products (e.g., responses, leads, opportunities datasets) and advanced AI/ML algorithms (e.g., attribution, lead scoring, recommendation systems).

Define and own a clear product vision and strategy for the entire portfolio, aligned with Salesforce Marketing strategic objectives.

Translate business objectives into thoughtful product roadmaps, impactful product features, and measurable business results.

Drive alignment on strategy and execution across executive leadership, marketing stakeholders, and partner teams.

Work closely with data science and engineering teams to define requirements, assess technical feasibility, and ensure high quality algorithm delivery at scale.

Define and track product KPIs to measure performance and business impact, including financial/ROI metrics.

Evangelize the product portfolio internally and externally, participate in customer meetings to share experiences driving business value.

Required Qualifications

Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Economics/Operations Research, or Industrial Engineering.

10+ years of product leadership experience, with at least 5+ years managing a portfolio of data and AI/ML algorithm products at enterprise scale.

5+ years of experience managing and mentoring a team of product managers, analysts, or modelers.

Working knowledge of SQL and proven ability to conduct quantitative analysis to drive data‑driven product strategy.

Understanding of database architecture, data models, pipeline engineering, and knowledge of statistical analysis, AI/ML modeling principles, and MLOps best practices.

Proven ability to build and scale complex data and AI/ML systems in fast‑moving, matrixed environments with data scientists, analysts, and engineers.

Experience with B2B marketing concepts and technology stacks (CRM, CDP, email platform, paid media, web) and marketing KPIs.

Experience with design of experiments (A/B testing, multivariate testing), marketing effectiveness measurement, and performance analytics.

Exceptional strategic thinking, stakeholder management, communication skills, and ability to present complex technical concepts to audiences at all enterprise levels.

Compensation Typical base salary range for this position: $230,700 – $351,800 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the range is $251,900 – $384,100 annually. The range represents base salary only and does not include company bonus, incentive, equity, or benefits.
