Intellectual Property Litigation Associate Job Title: Mid-Level Intellectual Property Litigation Associate Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation Range: $310,000 – $420,000 annually

Position Overview

Client is seeking a Mid-Level Intellectual Property Litigation Associate to join its highly regarded IP Litigation practice. The team is trusted by leading life sciences and technology companies to protect their most valuable intellectual property in high‑stakes disputes, including Hatch‑Waxman litigation, biosimilar disputes, trade secret cases, and complex licensing conflicts. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters alongside experienced litigators in a collaborative, business‑focused environment that delivers strategic solutions aligned with client objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in high‑stakes intellectual property litigation, including life sciences and technology disputes.

Manage all aspects of litigation matters, including:

Discovery and motion practice

Depositions and trial preparation

Draft and review pleadings, briefs, and other litigation documents.

Collaborate closely with partners, senior associates, and clients in a fast‑paced, high‑performing practice.

Participate in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings as appropriate.

Qualifications

4–7 years of substantial experience litigating intellectual property disputes.

Experience with Hatch‑Waxman and/or biosimilar litigation strongly preferred.

Demonstrated trial and deposition experience.

Excellent academic credentials.

Strong analytical, legal writing, and advocacy skills.

Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Experience at a large law firm or elite litigation boutique is preferred.

Hybrid work model requiring in‑office presence at least four days per week.

Schedule subject to change based on firm, department, and client needs.

Work Authorization

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Market‑based compensation aligned with attorney level and experience.

The anticipated salary range for this role is $310,000 – $420,000, excluding bonus compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Final compensation will be determined based on job‑related, non‑discriminatory factors, including relevant experience and qualifications, external market benchmarks, internal equity considerations, and on‑track or off‑track designation.
