Job Description As a Security Officer in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic government location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, and remain visible while providing outstanding customer service and communication.

Job Schedule: Mon 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM Tue 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM Wed 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM Thu 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM Fri 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
What You'll Do
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site‑specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help deter potential security‑related incidents.
Monitor access points and observe activities to help deter unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when required by site protocols.
Minimum Requirements
A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
A Guard Card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to background investigation.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
