Job Description Role Overview
The Director of Salesforce Workstream will lead the strategy, design, build, and operations of the Client's Salesforce ecosystem and related services. This role oversees multiple tracks including Salesforce Platform (Sales, Service, Marketing Clouds), Integration (ServiceNow, DevOps, Cloud COE), Application Inventory & Power Apps, AI Enablement, and Governance & Compliance.
The director ensures scalability, security, and reliability while driving innovation, automation, and operational excellence across global teams.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the Salesforce roadmap aligned with business goals and cost optimization.
Oversee architecture, configuration, and lifecycle management of Salesforce applications.
Lead integrations with ServiceNow, DevOps pipelines, and Cloud COE.
Drive AI-driven automation and analytics to enhance customer experience.
Ensure governance, compliance, and security across Salesforce operations.
Manage financials, budgeting, forecasting, and ROI reporting.
Build and lead high-performing onshore/offshore teams, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
Core Skills & Approach
Hands‑on technical leadership – able to review architecture, pipelines, and code/config.
Strong DevOps mindset – automate deployment, testing, and operations.
Champion AI tools and measure impact on speed and quality.
Operate as an extension of business teams, not a remote PMO.
Run on data and metrics – flow, reliability, quality, cost, and business KPIs.
Communicate clearly executive storytelling, transparent status, and risk management.
Required Experience
12+ years in CRM strategy and delivery; 5+ years in Salesforce leadership.
Proven success managing large‑scale Salesforce programs and integrations.
Strong financial management and vendor governance experience.
Expertise in DevOps, agile delivery, and distributed team leadership.
Excellent stakeholder management up to VP/C‑level.
Technical Expertise
Salesforce Clouds: Sales, Service, Marketing
Apex, Lightning, LWC, Flows, API Integrations
ServiceNow, DevOps pipelines, AI/automation frameworks
CI/CD, packaging, sandbox strategy, release management
Data and security model design, integration patterns (APIs, ETL, ESB)
Salesforce certifications (Admin, Developer, Architect) preferred
Leadership Competencies
Strategic vision and execution
Cross‑functional team management
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement
Focus on outcomes – customer experience, stability, cost efficiency
