Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is recruiting a pediatric hospital medicine physician to join our pediatric hospital medicine team in Lubbock, Texas. Our hospital medicine division is comprised of 11 pediatric hospital medicine physicians. Our division provides coverage for inpatient pediatric services at Covenant Children’s Hospital, University Medical Center Children’s Hospital, and Trustpoint rehabilitation hospital. We serve as the primary admitting team for many pediatric subspecialists and co‑manage with surgical specialists at each site. A new hospitalist‑run sedation service is being built at Covenant Children’s for children undergoing procedures or sedated imaging.

Our division works closely with the TTUHSC medical school and pediatric residency program, providing oversight on inpatient rotations, education in hospital medicine, and mentorship. We have a well‑established accredited PHM fellowship program with one fellow per year and a strong focus on education and evidence‑based practices.
