The Poway Unified School District is seeking applications for the fall season 2026 for a Girls Flag Football Head Coaching position at Del Norte High School. About Us: Del Norte High School is committed to fostering a culture of excellence in athletics and academics.
Our flag football program is dedicated to developing student-athletes not only in their athletic abilities but also in teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Head Coach to lead our team.
Position Overview: The Head Coach will be responsible for the overall management of the flag football program. This includes developing training plans, coaching during practices and meets, and promoting a positive team environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flag football, coaching experience, and a commitment to student‑athlete development.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement training programs.
Lead daily practices and coach at games.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and competitive team culture.
Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school administration.
Monitor and promote the academic and personal growth of student‑athletes.
Organize and oversee team events, fundraising, and community service initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all school and league policies.
Manage all program administrative requirements.
