Our primary care and walk-in care practice is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our team. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric populations. You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality healthcare services, promoting wellness, and managing acute and chronic conditions.
Responsibilities
Provide primary care services including preventive care, routine check-ups, and health screenings.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments.
Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs, medical history, and evidence-based guidelines.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work, imaging studies, and EKGs.
Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses and adherence.
Educate patients and their families about health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including specialists, nurses, and allied health staff, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and practice development activities.
Provide urgent care services for walk-in patients with minor injuries and illnesses during designated hours.
Requirements
Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine.
Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine.
Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
Completion of residency training in Family Medicine.
Excellent clinical skills and bedside manner.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to providing patient-centered care and promoting wellness.
Willingness to participate in continuing medical education and quality improvement initiatives.
Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine is preferred but not required.
