Call only coverage with 20-minute response time requirement

2-5 patients per shift with 3-8 admissions per 24 hours

Intubation and ventilation management for newborns and pediatrics

Central lines, arterial lines, and chest tube insertion required

Conscious sedation and minor procedures including circumcision

X-ray and EKG interpretation skills needed

Average 5 phone consults per 24-hour period

Both rounding and call responsibilities
