Gem
Role Details
Gem is looking for a senior individual contributor to own and evolve the GTM systems that power our go-to-market engine at scale. This role sits at the intersection of Salesforce, Revenue Cloud, data architecture, and real‑world GTM usability. You’ll design and build the workflows that connect our tools, streamline how we sell and renew, and help teams spend less time fighting systems and more time with customers.
What You’ll Do Day‑to‑Day
Design usable GTM workflows (end‑to‑end) across the full commercial lifecycle: lead → opportunity → quote → renewal → expansion → multi‑year renewal.
Optimize for end‑user usability, reduce friction for Sales and CS, ensure workflows scale as our product catalog and segments expand, support both sales‑led and self‑service‑adjacent motions.
Own how Revenue Cloud supports our GTM motion: configure products, pricing, discounting, and approvals; shape quoting that is fast, accurate, and maintainable; expand capabilities where they add value; partner with consultants for specialized CPQ or complex builds.
Turn tools into a connected system: integrate Salesforce, LeanData, Gong, Pylon, Vitally, Outreach, Marketo, ZoomInfo, and more; design workflows that increase signal flow, reduce tool sprawl, and activate capabilities we already pay for.
Own the GTM data foundation: maintain a clean, well‑documented data model; design fields and structures that support segmentation, reporting, forecasting, and market architecture; keep precision balanced with usability.
Bring insight into the system of record: integrate signals from Gong, Pylon, Vitally, and support systems; improve deal inspection, forecasting quality, and renewal risk visibility; reduce reliance on manual rep updates.
About You
6–10+ years in Salesforce / GTM systems / Revenue Operations systems roles.
Strong hands‑on experience with Salesforce Flows, validation rules, and declarative automation.
Experience configuring Revenue Cloud or CPQ in real GTM environments.
Deep understanding of pipeline, quoting, renewals, and expansions.
Proven ability to design systems with end‑user usability in mind.
Strong GTM intuition – understands how Sales, CS, Finance, and self‑service motions actually work.
Ability to make smart trade‑offs: build vs simplify vs outsource.
Comfortable operating as a senior IC and primary owner.
Clear, confident communicator across technical and non‑technical partners.
Salesforce Admin or Advanced Admin certification.
Nice‑to‑Haves (not Required)
Deeper Revenue Cloud / CPQ experience.
Experience in multi‑product or multi‑segment GTM environments.
Familiarity with AI‑enabled GTM tools (e.g., Pylon, Actively AI).
Basic Apex literacy (helpful, not required).
Benefits
Highly competitive salary & equity.
10‑year window to exercise your stock options.
Supportive Flexible Time Off program.
16 paid holidays, including regular company‑wide wellness days.
Best‑in‑class medical, dental & vision insurance.
$1,200 annual stipend for learning and development opportunities.
16 weeks of Paid Parental Leave for birthing and non‑birthing parents.
New Parent Perks totaling $1,500 and flexibility upon return to work.
