Role Description This is a part‑time, on‑site role for a Clinical Instructor based in San Francisco, CA. The Clinical Instructor will provide clinical instruction to nursing students, ensuring a quality learning experience through mentorship and hands‑on training in clinical settings. Responsibilities include collaborating with faculty on curriculum development, evaluating students’ clinical performance, maintaining compliance with state and accreditation standards, and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in clinical knowledge, nursing practice, and patient care skills

Proficiency in mentoring, evaluating student performance, and managing clinical placements

Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching and clinical practice

Master’s degree in Nursing or a related health field; a doctoral degree is preferred

Valid RN license in California or eligibility to acquire one

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Experience in healthcare education or academic settings is a plus
