Overview We are seeking a visionary, dedicated, and motivated

Executive Director

to lead our organization into its next phase of growth and impact. The Executive Director will serve as the driving force behind strategic planning, financial stability, and operational success while fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high‑performing culture. This role requires a dynamic leader passionate about making a difference, skilled in executive management, and capable of aligning all levels of the organization with its mission, values, and goals.

As our Executive Director, you will uphold and advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in both the workplace and the programs we deliver.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational leadership to the organization to ensure sustainability, growth, and achievement of long‑term goals.

Develop and execute strategies to increase funding and maintain financial stability, including cultivating relationships with donors, investors, and stakeholders.

Foster an inclusive, equitable, and diverse organizational culture that ensures the engagement, development, and well‑being of all team members.

Act as the external face of the organization, building productive partnerships with key stakeholders, community leaders, policymakers, and media.

Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost‑effective operations, financial health, and responsible stewardship of resources.

Oversee program implementation and ensure alignment with the organization’s mission and values.

Guide the senior leadership team and coach them to achieve organizational excellence.

Work collaboratively with the Board of Directors to establish short‑term and long‑term organizational goals and policies.

Actively assess risks and develop strategies to mitigate challenges while pursuing opportunities for innovation.

Qualifications We are looking for a leader with the vision, initiative, and interpersonal skills necessary to drive a successful organization. You should have the following qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Proven experience (8+ years) in executive management, with a track record of fostering organizational growth and achieving results.

Strong experience in strategic planning, financial management, and fundraising.

Familiarity with nonprofit or mission‑driven organizations is strongly preferred.

Day‑to‑Day A typical day as the Executive Director might include:

Collaborating with the senior management team to set goals and align on key priorities.

Meeting with external partners such as donors, government officials, and corporate sponsors to build relationships and secure funding.

Overseeing financial operations and reviewing progress against budgetary goals.

Engaging with the Board of Directors to discuss strategy and progress.

Hosting internal team meetings to share updates, celebrate achievements, and collaborate on problem‑solving.

Representing the organization at public speaking engagements or media events.

Reviewing program performance to ensure outcomes are aligned with the mission.

Addressing employee concerns, mentoring team members, and championing an inclusive workplace culture.

Monitoring the broader industry landscape and identifying opportunities for innovation or partnership.
