As part of this team you will help build and scale services that enable suppliers to request drivers on the Uber platform for vehicle delivery, repositioning, and essential operational tasks such as servicing, cleaning, and refueling. As a member of the CV team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our on‑demand vehicle delivery marketplace, ensuring seamless vehicle access for customers with a focus on convenience, speed, and maintaining balance across the three sides of the marketplace—earners, suppliers, and customers. This role blends strategic thinking with operational rigor, requiring close collaboration with cross‑functional teams and external partners to unlock value at scale. You will use data‑driven insights to identify growth opportunities, improve marketplace efficiency, and build long‑term partnerships that benefit all stakeholders.
What You'll Do
Drive Operational Excellence: Lead initiatives that improve the efficiency of our on‑demand vehicle delivery marketplace—balancing supply and demand, reducing delivery times, and ensuring seamless vehicle access for customers.
Leverage Data for Impact: Analyze complex data sets to uncover insights that shape strategic decisions. Use these insights to optimize marketplace performance, identify growth opportunities, and strengthen operational effectiveness.
Ensure Marketplace Balance: Manage the three‑sided marketplace—earners, suppliers, and customers—to deliver a consistent, reliable experience and meet key performance objectives such as on‑time delivery and overall reliability.
Build and Scale Supplier Relationships: Collaborate with rental car companies, dealerships, and fleet managers to deepen partnerships, expand our offerings, improve their operational efficiency, and drive long‑term, mutually beneficial outcomes.
Strategic Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Tech, Operations, Legal, and Finance to design and execute innovative solutions aligned with Uber's business objectives and long‑term Consumer Vehicles strategy.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of experience in operations, business consulting, finance, or a similar analytical role.
Proven track record of operational execution and strong project management skills across functions.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
Ability to independently analyze data and develop insights to support critical business decisions.
Proficiency in SQL and Python.
Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing partnerships or external stakeholders.
Expertise in marketplace dynamics, pricing strategies, and operational optimization.
Strong ability to drive strategic alignment and build consensus across cross‑functional teams.
Demonstrated success in fostering collaboration and enabling effective teamwork on complex projects.
Experience working on global projects or in an international setting.
Compensation For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$129,000 per year – USD$143,000 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$129,000 per year – USD$143,000 per year. For Washington, DC-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$129,000 per year – USD$143,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of compensation. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
