This role works with a global travel brand, along with additional work across lifestyle, tech and retail, to answer big questions about audiences, products, brand strategy and more. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of mixed‑methods research, strategic insight development and client partnership.

In this role, you’ll shape global research programs end to end, moderate qualitative work, design and execute quantitative design and analysis, and bring clarity and structure to data for clients. If you’re energized by connecting the dots between consumer behavior and business strategy, and enjoy helping clients translate insights into action, this role is for you!

Your Impact

Lead mixed‑methods research programs from proposal through delivery, applying both qualitative and quantitative approaches to uncover compelling insights.

Projects will include audience, landscape, and brand studies, with methods such as concept and creative testing, messaging/positioning evaluation, market sizing, conjoint segmentation, as well as a range of qualitative methodologies (online and in‑person ethnographies, focus groups, consumer co‑creation, IDIs and AI‑driven scaled qual).

Translate research data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations through visual, creative and story‑driven reports.

Identify and develop research opportunities for new and existing clients.

Serve as a trusted partner to clients, fully understanding their business objectives and strategically strengthening the relationship.

Potential to manage 1–2 direct reports, giving meaningful feedback on all aspects of a project and training analysts and managers across methodologies.

Collaborate across NRG teams to ensure work is high‑quality, efficient, and aligned with broader client goals.

Contribute to proposals and ongoing growth opportunities within the Devices & Services team.

Who We’re Looking For

7+ years’ experience working in consumer insights or consumer research strategy, ideally with exposure to large brands in technology, travel, lifestyle or retail.

B.A./B.S. in Social Sciences, Business, Marketing, Market Research, Statistics, Economics or a related field.

Enthusiasm for research, data‑driven approaches, and strategic thinking. Keeps up with industry trends.

In‑depth understanding and experience with a range of complex qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. Moderation experience is a must.

Proven experience nurturing and building client relationships, understanding their goals and delivering strategic guidance.

Experience designing and facilitating insight activation workshops or executive working sessions is a plus.

Ability to lead, mentor and inspire junior team members.

Expert at working with data to identify trends and insights, including structured and unstructured data. Advanced data visualization skills using Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs and Slides.

Experience with statistical significance testing, correlation analysis, multivariate analysis (cluster/segmentation), conjoint and discrete choice analysis. Experience with SPSS or similar packages is a plus.

Strong writing and storytelling skills; able to craft a clear story around data insights and communicate key points succinctly.

Curiosity and critical thinking; genuinely interested in exploring the “why” behind consumer behavior.

Highly self‑motivated, excels at managing multiple competing priorities and delivering polished, accurate work.

Team player who collaborates across teams and welcomes feedback.

Position Type This is a full‑time, exempt position.
