Summary The

Solution Architect

bridges business development and technical delivery, ensuring that RiVidium proposes

winning, executable solutions . In this role, you will design end-to-end technical approaches, lead proposal technical volumes, support orals presentations, and serve as a trusted technical advisor to federal customers. This position requires deep technical expertise in

Cyber & IT, Human Capital, or Intelligence solutions , along with the ability to translate complex architectures into compelling, customer‑focused narratives. Highly technical professionals from the commercial technology sector are encouraged to apply. Government contracting experience is preferred for PhDs or senior technologists with strong industry backgrounds—we will teach you the federal proposal and acquisition process.

Key Responsibilities

Design technical solutions aligned with customer requirements, mission needs, and acquisition constraints

Develop innovative, differentiated approaches that position RiVidium to win

Lead technical volume writing, reviews, and solution alignment for proposals

Prepare and deliver technical orals presentations and executive briefings

Estimate level of effort and support pricing inputs in collaboration with BD and finance

Participate in capture planning, solution shaping, and win strategy sessions

Serve as a technical subject matter expert in customer and partner meetings

Coach and mentor team members on solution development and technical presentations

Stay current on emerging technologies, including AI/ML applications for federal use cases

Required Qualifications

8+ years in IT, engineering, or technical delivery roles

3+ years in solution architecture, technical pre‑sales, or technical leadership

GovCon experience preferred

Proven track record designing solutions that win (proposals, enterprise sales, or product launches)

Deep expertise in one or more of the following domains:

Cybersecurity: Zero Trust, cloud security, identity and access management

Cloud Architecture: AWS, Azure, or GCP (commercial or government)

AI/ML: Model deployment, MLOps, responsible AI, LLM applications

Data Engineering & Analytics

Human Capital Technology: Workforce platforms, training systems, digital learning

Technical Knowledge

Modern architecture patterns (microservices, API‑first, cloud‑native)

Practical AI/ML applications and emerging trends

Security frameworks such as NIST and transferable FedRAMP concepts

Federal compliance frameworks (RMF, DISA STIGs) — can be learned on the job

Clearance

Ability to obtain Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI/ML, or related field

AWS Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent cloud certification

Relevant certifications (CISSP, PMP, TOGAF)

Experience with federal contract vehicles (or willingness to learn)

Active engagement in AI/ML communities and emerging technology trends
