Overview Pet Resorts is looking for a talented General Manager to join our team in

Braselton, Georgia .

As a General Manager (GM) you will be responsible for the overall operations, customer experience, sales performance, and execution of brand excellence in a resort. The GM will maximize sales and profits and maintain an exceptional level of customer service by building a strong team.

Responsibilities

Understand and communicate the company’s mission, values, and objectives.

Provide direction, leadership and communication for all aspects of the site including financial management, customer service, pet care and team management.

Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with resort and company objectives.

Create a plan to drive and achieve resort quantitative objectives including sales revenue, labor, cost of goods sold and expense management.

Maintain operational excellence and respond to directives accurately and promptly.

Recognize and reward outstanding performance of resort team members and demonstrate exceptional leadership behaviors.

Business/Financial Management

Create a data‑driven resort plan that supports regional and company initiatives to achieve operational excellence and strong business results.

Drive financial success by analyzing data and KPIs to optimize performance and identify growth opportunities.

Develop Resort Leads to understand financial reports and implement actions that achieve sales goals and budget adherence.

Execute corporate marketing plans and create local market plans for marketing and sales lead generation.

Leverage digital marketing channels and track lead generation efforts to optimize conversion rates.

Team Management

Select, develop, and evaluate subordinate managers and other team members.

Manage onboarding processes for new hires and Shift Leads.

Coach, counsel, direct and train team members to execute company standards and deliver excellent customer experience.

Recruit and maintain a pipeline of qualified team members.

Foster a positive culture and high retention through engagement strategies.

Customer Service

Strive for ultimate customer service experiences and maintain excellent service metrics.

Ensure adequate shift coverage at all times while adhering to scheduling and labor guidelines.

Oversee recruiting, hiring and training to ensure quality of resort staff.

Resolve service issues proactively and mentor staff in sales opportunities.

Educate and engage the community on products and services.

Operations

Adhere to all company policies, OSHA requirements and operational procedures.

Maintain impeccable standards for resort maintenance, cleanliness and inventory.

Lead shifts as “Manager on Duty” to demonstrate expectations and inspect results.

Communicate clearly and accurately to ensure effective shift operations and overall resort operations.

Own action plans for hot spot management and drive resort level actions.

Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum 3–5 years of management experience including P&L management.

Availability to work up to 45–50 hours per week including evenings and weekends.

Strong P&L management abilities and ability to influence workplace change.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and point of sale software.

Valid driver’s license and comprehensive insurance coverage.

Restaurant, retail, veterinary or hospitality experience preferred.

Bilingual skills a plus.

Compensation Salary range: $60,000 – $65,000, based on experience.
