Senior Lead Software Engineer, Back End/Full Stack (Intelligent Foundations & Experiences)

Responsibilities
Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers experienced in distributed microservices and full‑stack systems to create solutions that meet regulatory needs and business goals.
Stay on top of technology trends, experiment with new methods, and share knowledge through internal and external communities. Mentor peers and occasionally code or evaluate code.
Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust, cloud‑based solutions that enhance customer empowerment.
Utilize programming languages (Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, Scala) and open‑source RDBMS/NoSQL databases. Work with container orchestration services (Docker, Kubernetes) and a variety of AWS tools and services.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience (internship experience does not apply).
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in a related field.
9+ years of experience in Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js.
3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.
4+ years of experience in open‑source frameworks.
1+ years of people management experience.
2+ years of experience in Agile practices.

Chicago, IL: $204,900–$233,800
McLean, VA: $225,400–$257,200
Plano, TX: $204,900–$233,800
Richmond, VA: $204,900–$233,800
Riverwoods, IL: $204,900–$233,800
