About The Role In FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment we focus on our clients’ strategic, operational, financial and capital needs by addressing the full spectrum of financial and transactional challenges faced by corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, creditor constituencies and other stakeholders. We are currently seeking a Sr. Consultant, Global Human Capital. The FTI Global Human Capital team is a growing practice that brings together deep technical expertise across the full spectrum of workforce planning and management to help our clients transform and evolve in their highly dynamic environments, through Restructurings, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Business Transformations. This role will support the Global Human Capital team by focusing on organizational, operational, and people‑related challenges that materially impact the client’s strategic direction in moments of transformation or crisis, with a particular focus on bringing human capital capabilities to the Aviation and adjacent travel industries.
What You’ll Do
Responsible for day-to-day activities of the project including interaction with leading experts in the aviation and travel‑adjacent industries (as well as other industry), legal and finance professionals from other firms and senior client management. May include supervision of client personnel.
Apply business, operational, analytical and diagnostic/problem solving skills to various client situations and practice disciplines, with a focus on labor‑related matters.
Review and understand collectively bargained labor agreements, focusing on identifying and assessing productivity/utilization and cost‑related terms.
Prepare labor, financial, and workforce planning models to support business transformation, conduct due diligence, and analyze large amounts of data.
Identify and assess operational drivers which impact workforce efficiency and cost.
Draft written reports and/or presentations for third parties, as necessary, on the project scope, findings and/or results of activities.
Understand all aspects of the client’s business including review of ongoing operations and perform actual vs. budget variance reporting.
Work with the client’s senior management and other key stakeholders to achieve buy‑in on business transformation initiatives.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline involving quantitative analysis.
Familiarity with large labor group operations, collective bargaining agreements, and other labor relations matters.
3 years in Airline Industry, Consulting, or another travel‑related environment.
Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and conceptual skills.
Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Ability to travel up to 80%.
This role requires travel to clients and FTI offices.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with workforce composition across an airline, including Flight Operations, Airport Operations, Technical Operations, etc.
Experience with financial modeling of collectively bargained labor agreements.
