Position Summary Aetna is hiring a Senior Analyst of Business Consultation to support the growth of our Professional Employer Organizations (PEO) business. The position will report into the PEO unit’s Business Consultation team who focuses on Strategic Data, Analytics & Technology initiatives. This is a highly collaborative, customer‑facing role which supports the design and execution of segment‑wide, cross‑functional business strategies, innovative solutions, and improvements to existing processes using data and technology, ultimately enabling the Aetna PEO franchise to continue being competitive in the marketplace. The Senior Analyst will also be able to learn and develop their acumen across business analytics and project management disciplines.
Responsibilities
Managing internal & external business analytics needs including Dashboards automation and ad‑hoc data pulls & coordination requests
Driving process improvement opportunities in formalized and ad‑hoc projects (technology & non‑technology alike)
Helping Aetna Account Field teams & PEOs synthesize information for easy understanding
Communicating effectively through frequent presentation development and reporting exhibit creation
Researching and resolving complex customer issues in tandem with Account Field teams
Success entails the Senior Analyst of Business Consultation executing upon assigned team initiatives aimed to evolve the PEO customer & administrator experience. Initiatives, projects, and daily responsibilities entail effective collaboration with cross‑functional teams including from Underwriting, Actuarial, Informatics, Legal Compliance & Privacy, Aetna Information Systems (“AIS”), Service Operations, and many other areas.
Required Qualifications
1-3 years of Medical group insurance (with preference for foundational PEO industry knowledge)
1-3 years of Project experience involving data, analytics or technology
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to manage simultaneous responsibilities and tasks
Willingness to work on projects spanning multiple disciplines and partner area functions
Interest in using and evolving technology tools for business needs
Comfort with developing relationships with colleagues
Desire to learn business strategy, planning & execution
Analyzing Microsoft Excel workbooks including the use of pivot tables and formulas (with preference for foundational SQL or Google Cloud Platform knowledge)
Developing PowerPoints for effective communication
Prior customer‑facing experience with demonstrated interpersonal skills and servicing successes
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
Education: Bachelor's degree
Anticipated Weekly Hours 40
Time Type Full time
Pay Range $46,988.00 - $112,200.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
