Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified and skilled Hardware Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, and implementation of test and measurement products across the Fluke portfolio. The role will oversee a team of electrical engineers and drive product development from concept through launch, collaborating with mechanical engineering, product management, firmware/software, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of electrical hardware engineers.
Develop and implement hardware development strategies aligned with business objectives.
Lead all aspects of design, development, and testing of hardware products.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver on time and within budget.
Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and timelines.
Manage supplier and vendor relationships.
Identify and resolve issues promptly.
Provide regular project status updates to senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with at least 5 years of device development experience.
Strong technical background in hardware and proven leadership in medium‑to‑large organizations.
Track record of building engaged engineering teams with a culture of feedback and open communication.
Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects of varying complexity.
Knowledge of global compliance standards (CE, FCC, RoHS) and IEC 61010 for measurement equipment.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and autonomy.
Strong interpersonal skills, humor, tact, and flexibility.
Location Everett, WA
Compensation Salary range: $138,575 – $257,485 (Everett, WA)
Bonus eligibility: yes
