Amazon Music's Product & Tech (MPT) Program Management team is currently seeking a motivated and talented Senior Program Manager to drive large, complex business planning operations. This role presents a unique opportunity for high impact, visibility and regular interactions with the Amazon Music leadership team.
The Senior Program Manager reports to the Senior Manager of Amazon Music's Program Management Office (PMO) and is responsible for leading our most important communication and planning functions. Responsibilities include establishing tracking mechanisms, developing globally scalable planning cycles, coordinating planning & development off-sites, and establishing a cadence of communication with key stakeholders. You will effectively manage competing priorities and deliverables across a large portfolio of programs. As the ideal candidate, you will bring a proven track record in business operations, program management, and leadership in large global organizations. You must possess strong communication skills and an ability to earn trust with a diverse set of stakeholders in a highly complex, fast‑moving environment.
Responsibilities Include
Oversee key programs in MPT that impact execution velocity, organizational effectiveness and focus on process optimization and enhancing cross‑org collaboration.
Provide stakeholder consultation and liaise across global MPT on requirement gathering and integration options.
Elevate existing operational programs to increase adoption, impact and consistency.
Define project objectives and develop milestone schedules, project meetings and updates.
Cultivate partnerships with MPT external stakeholders (i.e.: AM BizOps, Finance, PxT, TA, etc.) to design mechanisms that support shared learnings, uncover new opportunities and build action plans that support growth.
Manage the implementation of new programs, develop mechanisms to measure and track success, provide ongoing documentation and communications to educate, influence and iterate.
Oversee planning and scoping activities to achieve important goals within the expected timelines.
Translate data into actionable insights.
Articulate status, key activities, and project risks to key stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of cross‑functional project delivery experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of cross‑functional project delivery experience.
3+ years of working cross‑functionally across several teams.
Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership.
Experience owning program strategy and end‑to‑end delivery.
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.
Experience defining and executing program requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience delivering globally distributed projects within scope, time, budget and quality.
3+ years of driving process improvements.
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, organizational development or related field.
