Product Manager III – AI Agent Experiences (Discovery Team) As a member of our AI Agent Product team, you will help define and build next‑generation conversational experiences for travelers.

Responsibilities

Lead the creation of conversational UIs and smart suggestions to simplify travel planning.

Pioneer multimodal inputs—voice, image, gestures, geo, device signals—to provide context‑aware interactions.

Collaborate with design teams to evolve our design system and support emerging AI‑driven interface patterns.

Drive strategy for AI‑powered trip discovery, transforming how travelers explore, compare, and choose itineraries.

Analyze global AI adoption trends in travel planning and devise strategies to keep Expedia ahead.

Partner with cross‑functional teams to accelerate AI capabilities and stay competitive in a rapidly evolving landscape.

Own the roadmap for AI Agent experience improvements, balancing innovation with user needs and business goals.

Collaborate with tech teams to evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies that give us a competitive edge.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field; or equivalent professional experience.

5+ years of Product Management experience with a track record of delivering user‑centered products.

Experience with conversational UI and chat‐based interaction models.

Experience leading front‑end product initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

Deep understanding of AI technologies—especially natural language processing, computer vision, and multimodal interactions.

Strong user advocacy and bias to action.

Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling user experiences.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data to inform product decisions.

Excellent communication and storytelling skills, inspiring stakeholders at all levels.

Agile mindset with the ability to pivot quickly in response to user feedback and market changes.

Passion for travel and keen interest in how AI is reshaping the industry.

Location and Pay Pay ranges vary by location. For example, in San Jose the cash range is $149,000 – $208,500, with potential to increase up to $238,500 based on performance.
