Branch Manager II (Waltham, MA) – BrightBridge Credit Union
We’re looking for a bilingual Branch Manager to lead the daily sales and operational functions of a high-volume branch. This role requires a proactive leader who models the Credit Union’s values, fosters a strong team environment, and delivers a consistently positive experience for members.
Pay Information Base pay range: $78,000.00/yr – $90,000.00/yr. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

Responsibilities
Serve as the management authority in the branch covering sales, operations, depository services, and certain lending issues.
Guide and advise staff and members on complex financial matters and ensure effective communication between departments.
Hires, trains, coaches, evaluates, develops, promotes, compensates, and disciplines subordinates within established policies and budget guidelines.
Leads and manages branch sales activities, programs, processes, and tactics focused on member retention, deepening relationships, and attracting new members.
Conducts weekly observations, coaching, and performance management for staff to meet sales goals.
Represents BrightBridge in community organizations and events within the Merrimack Valley area.
Manages all aspects of ATM services, including maintenance, security, and daily servicing.
Establishes and maintains the branch budget and identifies operational efficiencies.
Develops and enforces operational policies and procedures within the branch.
Acts as Membership Officer as approved by the Board of Directors.
Collaborates with department managers to enhance member experiences and generate incremental revenue.
Assists members with complex deposit/lending issues in a prompt, effective, and professional manner.
Ensures proper cash handling controls and accountability.
Adheres to the Bank Secrecy Act policy and procedures.
Motivates staff through rewards, recognition, and a team‑oriented environment.
Conducts monthly meetings and one‑on‑one goal alignment sessions with staff.
Performs additional duties as requested.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of four years branch operations experience within a financial institution.
Minimum of two years management/supervisory experience preferred.
Proven written and verbal communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
Initiative, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to manage daily branch operations.
Familiarity with applicable regulatory issues and compliance.
Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Availability for on‑call 24/7 security coverage and combined vendor, police, and fire department calls.
Provides Medallion and/or notary service for membership within 90 days of hire (required).
Eligible to register with NMLS and maintain registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator.
