Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking a professional, decisive Roofing General Manager who can lead 3–5 roofing crews, drive production, and uphold quality standards without constant oversight.
This role is ideal for someone who has grown beyond foreman or superintendent and is ready to fully own daily operations, people leadership, and results.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Directly manage 2–5 roofing crews (employees and/or subcontractors)
Oversee daily production, scheduling, and job sequencing
Ensure workmanship meets company and manufacturer standards
Enforce safety, professionalism, and jobsite accountability
Coordinate materials, deliveries, and job readiness
Resolve field issues quickly and professionally
Train, mentor, and hold crew leaders accountableCommunicate clearly with ownership, sales, and customers
Track job progress, productivity, and crew performance
What Success Looks Like
Crews show up prepared, on time, and productive
Jobs move efficiently from start to completion
Minimal rework and warranty issues
Clean, professional jobsites
Crews respect your leadership and direction
Ownership trusts you to run operations without micromanagement
Required Experience
5+ years in roofing operations or production management
Proven experience managing multiple crews simultaneously
Strong knowledge of residential roofing systems (shingle required; metal/flat a plus)
Ability to read work orders, schedules, and production targets
Comfortable making decisions and holding people accountable
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred (But Not Required)
Experience as a Roofing Superintendent, Ops Manager, or GM
Familiarity with subcontractor management
OSHA or safety leadership experience
