Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

3 years of experience in product management, engineering, or a related technical role.

2 years of experience taking consumer products from conception to launch, including defining product requirements, strategy, and roadmap.

Experience working with cross‑functional teams (e.g., Engineering, UX/UI, Data Science) to drive product execution.

Experience applying AI/ML technologies and data‑driven insights to solve user problems.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in trust and safety, content moderation, or policy product areas, with an understanding of online safety issues.

Ability to leverage GenAI/LLMs to create innovative user experiences or automate operational workflows.

Ability to demonstrate passion for the creator economy and an empathy for creators' needs and pain points.

Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in a fast‑paced, constantly evolving environment.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non‑technical stakeholders across different levels.

Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to define success metrics for safety, quality, and user sentiment.

About the Job At Google, we put our users first. In this role, you will work cross‑functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down problems into steps that drive product development.

As part of the YouTube Trust & Safety team, you will have a unique opportunity to redefine how creators interact with YouTube’s policies using AI. You will partner with engineering and Youth Trust and Safety cross‑functional teams, transform the policy experience from a friction point into a learning partnership, leveraging AI to explain policy violations and help creators fix their content. You will design scalable, automated solutions that enable the safe expansion of creator tools, at the intersection of safety and creator empowerment, maintaining a healthy ecosystem while reducing reliance on manual operations.

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $132,000–$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities

Define the product goal, strategy, and requirements for creator policy experience products, transforming policy interactions from blockers into educational opportunities that empower creators.

Drive the development of AI‑powered solutions that proactively identify potential violations, explain policies clearly, and guide creators through automated remediation workflows.

Enable the safe expansion of creator tools to broader audiences by designing abuse‑mitigation frameworks that balance risk reduction with ecosystem growth.

Collaborate with Engineering, UX, Data Science, Youth Trust and Safety Operations, and GAPP, PR, Legal teams to navigate safety issues and deliver seamless, transparent creator experiences.
