Business Development Manager - Northeast

OXOS Medical is searching for a Business Development Manager to join our high‑growth team. You will be a key contributor to our commercial expansion strategy. In this role, you will accelerate regional growth by managing the full sales process, supporting distributor performance, and serving as the technical and clinical expert on OXOS Imaging products, including the MC2 platform and accessories. You will identify, develop, and close new business opportunities inside and outside our existing channels, ensuring a strong pipeline and execution across your territory.
Responsibilities
Own responsibility for achieving and exceeding regional revenue targets for the OXOS MC2 handheld imaging system and accessories.
Drive direct sales opportunities by managing leads from initial outreach through closing, including demonstration, proposal, negotiation, and onboarding.
Expand the distribution pipeline by developing and supporting regional distributor partners, ensuring they are fully trained, aligned, and engaged.
Maintain expert knowledge of product capabilities, competitive differentiators, clinical applications, and workflow integration.
Identify, prioritize, and pursue opportunities in core orthopedic and MSK channels as well as urgent care, podiatry, sports medicine, occupational health, mobile imaging, government/military, dental, veterinary, and other emerging segments.
Research regional market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to guide strategic penetration.
Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, workshops, and networking events; report findings and leads through Salesforce.
Serve as the sales, technical, and clinical expert for distribution partners, supporting demos, pricing strategy, and deal execution.
Monitor distributor performance, manage accountability, and ensure strong regional coverage and lead follow‑up.
Ensure distributor messaging aligns with OXOS positioning and compliance guidelines.
Maintain accurate documentation in Salesforce, capture critical data elements, and support forecasting and reporting.
Contribute to the development and refinement of Salesforce workflows, sales stages, and reporting.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Marketing, Customer Success, Operations, and Clinical teams to ensure seamless delivery, training, onboarding, and support.
Work with Marketing on targeted campaigns, activations, and events to drive lead generation and product adoption.
Provide marketing with real‑time customer feedback and competitor intelligence.
Ensure consistent representation of OXOS brand, value propositions, and messaging across all interactions.
Review distributor collateral and presentations for alignment with clinical, technical, and commercial standards.
Serve as a regional ambassador for OXOS mission and product leadership in handheld imaging.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Biology, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in medical device sales or business development, preferably with capital equipment, imaging, or point‑of‑care technologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong sales and negotiation skills.
In-depth understanding of technical or scientific products.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Proficient with Salesforce.
Willingness to travel regionally for customer and distributor support.
