opportunity. This position will require travel up to 25%. As the Business Analyst you will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, developing and executing test cases to validate system functionality, and preparing system and training documentation to support successful project implementation.
What You’ll Do
Facilitate and document project meetings as needed
Develop use and test cases
Prepare, review, and/or monitor compliance of any or all project artifacts listed in Task 2 below with the defined project methodology
Prepare, execute, monitor and report on testing activities/status in each testing phase
Validate post implementation with requirements traceability matrix and assist with defect identification, tracking, and resolution
Assist in the preparation of training materials
Identify and monitor the completion of action items
Identify and communicate potential project risks and issues for MME PMO review
Prepare and post updated documentation
What You’ll Need Required:
6+ years of experience working within a Medicaid program or a healthcare related field
4+ years of experience in the design, development, and /or implementation of a Medicaid, healthcare, and/or data warehouse Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) system in the role of primary business analyst
Proven experience in requirements management, strong documentation and validation skills
Skilled in developing and executing test cases and ensuring testing integrity across system, UAT, and regression phases
Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with SMEs and linking business needs to technical solutions
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$100,000 - $110,000
The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
