Overview

We’re looking for a talented Account Executive to join MachineMetrics’ remote Sales team. As an Account Executive, you’ll own the entire conversation from first touch to close, working inbound leads, creating new opportunities through thoughtful outbound outreach, and guiding prospects through demos and discussions that clearly show how MachineMetrics delivers real value on the shop floor. Responsibilities

Own and grow strategic accounts across North America and internationally. Engage inbound leads and proactively source new opportunities through calls, email, and social outreach using tools like HubSpot, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Navigator. Tell the MachineMetrics story through compelling demos and presentations, from plant-floor leaders to the C‑suite. Get to know customers deeply—understanding their business drivers, challenges, and goals—to shape the right use cases and value propositions. Run a full sales cycle, from qualification and discovery through pilots, negotiations, and close. Consistently close new business by identifying key stakeholders, tailoring your messaging, and bringing in executive sponsors when it matters. Collaborate closely with Solutions Engineers, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to turn strong opportunities into successful customers. Be a champion of MachineMetrics’ core values, both internally and with customers. What you’ll bring

A track record of success selling Industrial IoT / Industry 4.0 or enterprise software into manufacturing. The ability to communicate clearly and confidently with everyone from operators and managers to IT leaders and executives. Curiosity about technology and a genuine passion for manufacturing. Comfort using modern productivity and presentation tools (HubSpot, Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, etc.). Experience working with a CRM and managing pipeline effectively. Strong communication, listening, and negotiation skills. The ability to juggle priorities and manage your time in a fast‑moving environment. 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience (experience in Automotive or Medical Device manufacturing is a strong plus). Startup experience is helpful, but not required. Other requirements

Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and passport, and the ability to travel as needed. Legal authorization to work in the United States. This role reports directly to MachineMetrics’ Chief Revenue Officer, Graham Immerman. About MachineMetrics
