About the Team The Data & Reporting team builds and manages a secure, structured database, importing data from various source systems and providing data to downstream consumers. The team operates as a Scrum team of 8–9 members, including a Product Owner, Tech Lead, Analysts, Developers, and Testers.
Role Overview We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our Scrum team. The ideal candidate will lead functional requirements gathering, perform data analysis, write technical specifications for developers, conduct user acceptance testing after development, and occasionally provide GUI requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Gather and document functional business requirements.
Conduct data analysis and translate business needs into technical specifications.
Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation.
Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) post-development.
Communicate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Work efficiently within an Agile/Scrum environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills : Strong SQL and data query skills; experience building and managing databases; ability to write clear technical specifications.
Domain Knowledge : Understanding of mortgage finance data.
Soft Skills : Strong problem‑solving ability; fast learner and self‑starter; excellent communication skills; team player with Scrum methodology experience.
