Strategic Solution Partners . This 100% travel Task Force position supports hotel operations during management vacancies, including openings, transitions and re-positioning. The consultant works on site for the assignment duration and returns home every two to three weeks. Summary of Job Responsibilities: Create a positive, energetic and respectful work environment within the department Lead through example, professionalism, personal values, and vision Provide temporary management support to prevent department disruptions Supervise and direct the Banquet associates including captains, servers, housemen Interview, recommend hiring, schedule, train, develop, empower, coach and counsel, resolve problems, provide open communication, recommend and conduct performance and salary reviews, recommend discipline and termination, as appropriate Supervise the daily operations of the Banquet or F&B area (order and maintain supplies, review set‑up and food and beverage preparation and service) to ensure compliance with LSOPs and SOPs, Banquet Event Orders, safety regulations and procedures and to ensure an optimal level of service, quality and hospitality Meet with the sales team members and/or customers to review the Banquet Event Order and to review any changes, issues and/or problems to ensure delivery of a quality product Calculate and review the Banquet checks ensuring accuracy and present the check to the customer for signature to ensure payment Calculate and prepare the daily service charges and payroll ensuring accurate, prompt reporting to the Accounting Department Monitor and control the maintenance/sanitation of the Banquet areas and equipment to protect the assets and ensure quality service Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis Qualifications: Proficiency in hotel software A minimum of 5 years of RECENT successful hotel Food and Beverage Management experience in FULL SERVICE and/or LUXURY properties Possess a maturity and professional disposition to operate in our clients’ dynamic environments Ability to travel 100% of time Creative and innovative problem solver Strong management skills and a proactive approach to supporting hotel needs Ability to adapt quickly and perform under high expectations Ability to communicate effectively and work under pressure Ability to meet deadlines and embrace ongoing change Requires excellent organization, time management, interpersonal skills Must be an ambitious self-starter with a desire to learn Knowledge of a hotel structure and how all departments interact Eligibility to work in the US Details of paid travel expenses and room and board will be discussed during the interview process.
