Job Description Global Security protects the firm’s employees and assets worldwide. This role includes developing security and safety policies and procedures, regulatory compliance, security guard management, alarm response, incident management, corporate building security, customer safety, physical crime investigations, workplace violence, fire and life safety, executive protection, pre‑employment screening, security operations on a global basis, and fraud investigations. As a Global Security Operations Center Analyst, you monitor, research, review, and analyze data sources for dissemination and reporting, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures in a fast‑paced, 24x7x365 environment. The GSOC Analyst coordinates with security, resiliency, and intelligence professionals, interacting with employees at all levels and providing corporate‑level preparedness and response coordination for major crisis events and day‑to‑day disruptions.

Job Responsibilities

Participate in daily security incident response, identifying and triaging potential impacts to employees, assets, and operational areas.

Maintain situational security awareness monitoring, gathering information from internal and external sources, normalizing and correlating information, and providing real‑time detection and response services for incidents.

Compose and track incident informationals to resolution; inform security, resiliency, facility, and technology responders; deliver information in verbal or written updates via internal communication platforms.

Escalate sensitive or high‑impact incidents to senior managers and executives, including members of the JP Morgan Chase Operating Committee.

Provide logistical support for crisis management teams, including exercise coordination, roster maintenance, and crisis call facilitation.

Triage and elevate workplace violence cases to relevant security and threat management teams.

Monitor and administer travel security operations in accordance with procedures, including tracking, assisting, and advising international travelers across the region.

Monitor and support site and regional crisis management conference calls, gathering and providing intelligence and information as required.

Conduct proactive research into potential risks; monitor external media feeds for threats to facilities and senior management.

Work overnights, weekends, holidays, and during crises as needed.

Perform special projects and research as required by GSOC management or as conditions warrant.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, equivalent military/law enforcement, or joint operations center/security operations center experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in GIS Systems (ESRI).

Able to establish, foster, and maintain trust‑based relationships with a diverse portfolio of stakeholders.

A clear and timely communicator, able to adjust communication styles to interact with a range of audiences.

Confident and collaborative, able to offer constructive challenge to status quos and to provide and seek diverse perspectives.

Preference for directly transferable experience, and awareness & knowledge of incident management, business resilience, and security operations.
