About The Role:
A highly regarded, innovative design studio in San Francisco is seeking a talented Project Designer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a studio recognized for its thoughtful, concept‑driven approach across corporate, commercial, and experiential design for high‑profile clients across the globe. The ideal candidate is a versatile designer with a strong conceptual sensibility and technical skillset, capable of contributing across multiple project types and phases. In this role, you will collaborate closely with studio leadership, support the creative process from early concept through construction, and play a key role in shaping the design outcomes of a diverse portfolio of corporate and commercial projects.
Base pay range $75,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to multiple corporate and commercial projects simultaneously, from concept through construction documentation.
Develop and refine design concepts, producing high‑quality visualizations, presentations, and drawings that communicate the design intent effectively.
Assist in the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and project deliverables with attention to detail and quality.
Collaborate with consultants, vendors, and contractors to support project execution, including FF&E coordination and material selection.
Maintain design integrity and studio standards throughout all project phases, ensuring timely and budget‑conscious delivery.
Participate actively in studio design reviews, workshops, and pin‑ups to foster a collaborative creative environment.
Support mentorship and guidance within the team, contributing to a culture of learning, growth, and cross‑disciplinary collaboration.
Stay informed on design trends, innovative materials, and emerging technologies to elevate studio work.
Key Skills / Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
4–8+ years of professional experience in corporate and commercial design projects within architecture or design studios.
Strong conceptual thinking, visualization, and design execution skills.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office; experience with 3D rendering is a plus.
Knowledge of construction administration, consultant coordination, building codes, and client communication.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Collaborative mindset with a positive, proactive approach to problem‑solving.
State licensure or pursuit of licensure is a plus.
