We are partnered with a reputable and growing A&E firm that's seeking a motivated
Project Engineer
with experience in
site/land development
to support planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects. This role involves coordination with project managers, design teams, and field personnel to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with planning, design, and execution of site/land development projects
Prepare and review civil engineering plans, reports, and technical calculations
Coordinate with surveyors, architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies
Support grading, drainage, utility, roadway, and stormwater design efforts
Review submittals, RFIs, and change orders
Participate in site visits, inspections, and construction meetings
Track schedules, budgets, and project documentation
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Experience in site/land development projects
Familiarity with civil design standards and permitting processes
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D (or similar design software)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
EIT certification or progress toward PE licensure
Experience with grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management
Knowledge of local zoning, land use, and permitting requirements
Construction-phase support experience
